At Vapestars Network, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting human rights in all aspects of our operations. We recognize the importance of addressing modern slavery and human trafficking and are dedicated to preventing and eradicating these abuses within our organization and supply chains.
- Policy and Commitment: We have implemented a Modern Slavery Policy that outlines our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking. This policy is communicated to all employees and stakeholders, emphasizing our zero-tolerance approach to such practices.
- Risk Assessment: We conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains. This assessment includes both internal operations and the sourcing of goods and services from external suppliers.
- Supplier Due Diligence: We require all our suppliers and business partners to adhere to the principles of ethical conduct, including respect for human rights and the prohibition of modern slavery. We conduct due diligence on our suppliers, including requesting information on their policies and practices regarding modern slavery.
- Supplier Agreements: Our supplier contracts include specific clauses that require compliance with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws. We make it clear that non-compliance may result in contract termination.
- Training and Awareness: We provide training and awareness programs to our employees to ensure they understand the signs of modern slavery, how to report any concerns, and their role in preventing and addressing these issues.
- Reporting and Whistleblowing: We have established a confidential and accessible reporting mechanism that enables employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to report any suspected cases of modern slavery or human trafficking. We treat all reports seriously and take appropriate action to investigate and address any concerns raised.
- Continuous Improvement: We regularly review and improve our policies, procedures, and practices to enhance our approach to combating modern slavery. We engage in ongoing dialogue with stakeholders and industry experts to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices.
Our Expectations of Suppliers:
We expect all suppliers and business partners to share our commitment to eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking. We require our suppliers to adhere to the following principles:
- Compliance with Laws: Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to modern slavery and human trafficking, including those specific to the jurisdictions in which they operate.
- Transparency: Suppliers are expected to provide transparent information about their operations, supply chains, and efforts to combat modern slavery. This includes disclosing their policies, procedures, and due diligence practices.
- Supplier Due Diligence: We expect suppliers to conduct their own due diligence to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not present in their own supply chains.
- Collaboration: We encourage collaboration with suppliers to address any identified risks and work together to implement appropriate measures to prevent and address modern slavery.
- Remediation: In the event that modern slavery or human trafficking is identified within a supplier’s operations or supply chains, we expect immediate action to rectify the situation, including remediation efforts to support affected individuals.
We are committed to transparency and will report annually on our efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. This report will outline our progress, challenges, and initiatives undertaken to ensure compliance with our Modern Slavery Policy.
Vapestars Network is dedicated to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our organization and supply chains. We recognize that eradicating these abuses requires ongoing vigilance, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement. We will continue to assess and refine our practices to ensure we meet our responsibilities in combatting modern slavery.
